Amir Kabir Hotel in Tehran
The prospect of finding a place to stay in the massive metropolitan area of
Tehran with its crazy traffic and overpopulated neighborhoods might be
intimidating to most people. However, besides being the first in the list of the
most populated and polluted cities in the country, Tehran also boasts the
largest diversity of
accommodation in Iran. Tehran has a wide array of hotels
and guesthouses which are scattered all around the city most of which offer
online booking services. Tehran claims most of the ranks in the top ten luxury
hotels in Iran. Parsian Azadi, Esteghlal, Espinas Palace and Tehran Grand Hotel
are all 5-star hotels and are generally considered as the best hotels in Tehran.
But the large crowds that come to Tehran several times a week for business or
any other travail (including thousands of commuters coming from the cities
nearby and sometimes need to stay a night or two in the capital) cannot afford
the high costs of fancy hotels. Of the same mind are those backpackers and
economy travelers who aren’t particularly fond of luxury service and prefer more
modest accommodation; to put it in a nutshell they are looking for cheap hotels
in Tehran. The ideal choice for these people are the great host of less fancy
Tehran hotels, hostels and guesthouses with excellent service and reasonable
prices.
Amir Kabir Hotel in Tehran is such a place welcoming the guests with
quality amenities and food for a fair price. But the biggest perk of residing in Amirkabir Hotel is above all its location which is near most of the tourist
attraction in the city center. You will seek a safe haven after a maddening
journey in the heart of Tehran and the good news is you don’t have to go far as
Amir Kabir Hotel is right next to the corner in the city center of Tehran.

Tehran Tours
Every region included in our
Iran tours has a specific quality to it.
Isfahan
and
Yazd have their unparalleled urban architecture,
Shiraz has its garden and
Tabriz has its Bazaar. But Tehran might be the only spot that boasts all of the
above and much more! People who
travel to Iran usually visit its diverse attractions
by booking a tour.
Tehran tours are very popular despite the rather gloomy
prospect of a megacity in the Middle-East. A sightseeing Tehran tour will take
you to an unbelievable range of historic and cultural spots from the royal
palaces of the center and the north of Tehran to the modern regions of the west
and far north and of course the spectacular natural sights of Darband and
Darakeh.

Tehran sightseeing tours are immensely popular with the
tourists as they represent the long history of Iran’s huge capital. Although
visiting all the exciting spots in Tehran needs more than a few days, we have
selected the best of the best for our one-day tours of Tehran. We will take a
brief look at some of these marvelous places.

Tehran Tourist Attractions
It comes as no surprise that Iran is brimming with an
astounding diversity of
tourist attractions. That is the least you would expect from one of the cradles
of civilization. Tehran as the political, economic and cultural capital of Iran
is definitely no short of fabulous tourist attractions. Among
Tehran's attractions, Tehran Bazaar as one of
the greatest centers of commerce in Iran, is itself a live museum where every
aspect of life in Iran is showcased. Great public parks add a novel flavor to
the jammed streets and over-crowded districts of the city center with their
beautiful flower beds,
Persian gardens and
ancient Chinar trees.
Laleh Park,
Mellat Park, Jamshidieh Park and Ab-o Atash Park are the top-rated public parks
in Tehran each representing distinct features. Laleh-Park is one of the largest
and most visited public Parks in Tehran located in Keshavarz Blvd. The park
contains two of marvelous art museums;
Carpet Museum of Iran and the acclaimed
Tehran Museum of Contemporary Arts. Mellat Park is another outstanding
entertainment and cultural center. It contains great facilities such as musical
fountains, an aviary, beautiful gardens, many cafeterias and restaurants and
above all one of the largest and most modern cineplexes in Iran. The next park
in our list, Jamshidieh Park, is one of the oldest public parks in Tehran.
Originally a private estate belonging to a Qajar prince, Jamshidieh was expanded
and renovated during Pahlavi era by the addition of a beautiful pond and also
the famous cobblestones. The last public park we will introduce here is a modern
one. Ab-o Atash Park was founded in 2009 as one of the urban green space
projects of Tehran municipality. It includes exclusive space for a wide range of
leisure activities including biking and skating. Abo-Atash is also near the most
iconic bridge in the capital, Tabiaat Bridge.

Tehran City
The massive metropolitan area of
Tehran city demands a great number of means of
transportation. Tehran is equipped with modern transportation systems including
Metro, BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) speed buses and online taxi services. In spite of
looming as a nerve-racking endeavor, finding one’s way in
Tehran metro is in
fact very easy as all metro stations contain maps both in Persian and English.
The same thing applies to the
Tehran BRT speed buses all of which are equipped with
signs and maps, although they are much more crowded than metro lines specially
in Tehran’s rush hours between 4-7 pm. Other recent development in Tehran
transportation system is the emergence of online taxi services. By installing a
simple program on your phone, you will be connected to thousands of superb
online taxis in Tehran. They are all new ventilated cars with experienced
drivers and they are cheaper than ordinary taxis. You can even give scores to
the driver at the end of your trip! In the peak hours though Metro and BRT lines
are the only possible way to reach your destination on-time (provided that you
could get on them of course!). Changing money could also be done quite
conveniently in Tehran as well. You will find many exchange shops and counters
in Tehran,
especially at Ferdowsi Sq where you can exchange your money to
Iranian currency, Rial.
